The Highland Lakes is a chain of seven man-made lakes on the Colorado River in Central Texas operated by the Lower Colorado River Authority. Reilly Real Estate, L.L.C. provides real estate services to properties on and near Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls and Lake Travis.

Cities and communities in the Highland Lakes area that we serve include:

Marble Falls. Situated in the heart of the Highland Lakes, Marble Falls is located on Lake Marble Falls, between Lakes LBJ and Travis. Marble Falls is the Highland Lakes' central shopping area, and includes supermarkets, a Super Wal-Mart, and various other resources. It is home to annual drag boat races at the summer Lakefest, a chili cook-off in the annual Howdy-Roo festival, and the annual Christmas Walkway of Lights extravaganza on the shores of the lake. Just west of the city is Granite Mountain, home to the Texas Division of Cold Spring Granite, the source of the granite used for the Texas State Capitol building and many others.

Kingsland. A small city located on Lake LBJ, at the confluence of the Llano and Colorado River arms of the lake.

Llano. County seat of Llano County, this city is headquarters in the winter to deer hunters who flock to the central Texas area for some of the best white tail deer hunting in the state.

Burnet. County seat of Burnet County, this growing city is the stopping point of the Texas Steam Train, that runs between Austin and Burnet.

Horseshoe Bay. The site of our offices, this upscale resort community on Lake LBJ has three Robert Trent Jones golf courses, an incredible putting golf course, tennis facilities, and world class resort facilities including lodging. A landing strip accommodates private aircraft owners.

Granite Shoals. This lakeside community is on Lake LBJ, and takes its name from the original name for the lake before it was named after former President Lyndon B. Johnson, who was responsible for creating the Highland Lakes and owned property on the lake.

Meadowlakes. A private gated community on Lake Marble Falls offers a picturesque golf course through an old Pecan Orchard, and a quiet neighborhood surrounding.

Sunrise Beach. This community on Lake LBJ offers a mix of weekend lake houses and full time residents.

Blue Lake Estates. Neighbor to Horseshoe Bay, this established subdivision on Lake LBJ has a challenging nine-hole golf course, and some beautiful homes.

Deerhaven. True to its name, Deerhaven is home to many deer, and is also is next to Horseshoe Bay and on Lake LBJ. Many large homes grace the lakefront in this subdivision.

Oak Ridge Estates. Surrounded by Horseshoe Bay, large lots and some small acreage tracts make this quiet community appealing. Lake LBJ lakefront property is also available in Oak Ridge.

Cottonwood Shores. This community, between Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls is on Lake Marble Falls, and offers a value priced alternative to other subdivisions.

Highland Haven. On Lake LBJ, Highland Haven offers large lots, and many lovely homes.
